Debate around the legislative response to the #metoo movement heated up during Tuesday's House Labor and Industry voting meeting, as passage of two resolutions calling for further study on the issue left some members unhappy about a handful of sexual assault bills that have yet to be brought up.

On Monday morning, Auditor General Eugene DePasquale stood with Secretary of State Robert Torres and Senators Mike Folmer (R-Lebanon) and Kim Ward (R-Westmoreland) to announce that he will be conducting an audit of the state's voter registration system to assess voting security before the 2020 elections.

Greenleaf's bill protecting child victims of human trafficking heads to House Floor

Sen. Stewart Greenleaf's (R-Montgomery) Safe Harbor bill passed out of the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday morning.

Sen. Greenleaf created the bill to protect the child victims of human trafficking from criminal prosecution. He was joined by his colleagues, survivors and advocates for a rally after the committee meeting to call for the House and Senate to pass this bill.
