AG DePasquale believes regulating and taxing marijuana in Pennsylvania could help reach the $3 billion budget deficit

At a press conference Monday morning, Auditor General Eugene DePasquale discussed the benefits that would come from regulating and taxing marijuana in Pennsylvania. 

He estimates that Pennsylvania could gain around $200 million, and believes that would be a recurring number.

New audit shows York County Children & Youth Agency owes the Commonwealth $578,400

Auditor General Eugene DePasquale held a press conference Thursday morning where he discussed a recent audit of the York County Children and Youth Agency. According to the audit, the agency owes $578,400 to the Commonwealth for disallowed costs with the majority of the money owed due to disallowed costs for health benefits paid to retired employees.
