The Capitol saw a push for equal pay laws, legislators against the Right to Work Act, and a new House Bill Tuesday

Today Rep. Mike Sturla (D-Lancaster) held a press conference where he introduced HB 959, relating to State Police protection for municipalities without their own police departments.

Later in the Main Rotunda Legislators joined advocates where they held a rally for equal pay for women.

Lastly legislators stood and gave their opinions on the "Right-To-Work" legislation.

Monday's press conferences revolve around National Crime Victims' Rights Week

A press conference on Monday was held to support and raise awareness about crime victims' rights. 

At a later press conference, Rep. Mark Rozzi (D-Berks), led a rally on the Capitol steps to bring to light the need for changes in Pennsylvania's laws that affect the victims of childhood sexual abuse.

Today at the Capitol members of the PennEnviornment Research and Policy center held a press conference to release a new report.

Also in the main rotunda there was the Fayette County Special Olympics contestants campaigned for “spread the word to end the word”.

Also, a group of senators unveiled four new bills that they are hoping offer more protection to victims of domestic abuse.
