Pittsburgh and Allegheny County officials call for ethics reforms

Tom Wolf’s proposed “Citizens First” ethics plan, Allegheny County Controller Chelsa Wagner has proposed similar reforms to be enacted at a county level for candidates and officials.  Controller Wagner’s suggested reforms, similar to Gov. Measures would include a gift ban to county officials and staff, placing limits on campaign contributions and making the records publicly accessible, and requiring county officials to disclose outside sources of income.
