It has been over a year since the issuance of a grand jury report following a two-year investigation by Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s office into allegations of sexual abuse by Catholic clergy in the dioceses of Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Erie, Greensburg, Allentown, and Scranton. The grand jury reviewed over 500,000 pages of internal diocesan documents and interviewed dozens of witnesses to conclude that there were “credible allegations” against over 300 priests which involved over 1,000 child victims.

On Monday morning, Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo was joined by Commonwealth Victim Advocate Jennifer Storm and Shea Rhodes, director of the Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation, to discuss the grand jury report that investigated allegations of sexual misconduct by former Rep.
