Schlossberg speaks on bill to promote stop-arm cameras on school buses

Rep. Mike Schlossberg (D-Lehigh) spoke with The PLS Reporter on a piece of legislation that he and Sen. Patrick Browne (R-Lehigh) have been working on to push school buses to use stop-arm cameras to capture who is illegally passing buses while they are stopped.

Schlossberg introduced House Bill 2225 while Browne introduced its companion Senate Bill 1098.

It is currently legal for school buses to have cameras of these kinds, but the legislation would encourage school districts to use them more to promote safety.
