House leaders tee up congressional redistricting language; advocates unimpressed

Following up on a pledge to move government reform legislation, House leadership has set up an attempt to amend a previously referred Senate bill, SB 1034, with a new congressional redistricting plan.

Three amendments - two from House Majority Leader Dave Reed (R-Indiana) and one from Speaker of the House Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) are on the table.
