Community organizers file amicus brief to make public Pittsburgh Amazon H2Q bid

Despite being ordered to make the details of the Amazon HQ2 bid to the public, the City of Pittsburgh instead opted to appeal the decision. This “veil of secrecy,” as community organizers call it, has caused frustration among Pittsburgh residents. So much so that early Thursday morning, the Community Power Movement and a dozen other activists took to City-County Building steps to announce the submission of a petition and amicus brief urging the city to reveal what Amazon has been promised.
