Tobacco settlement nets state budget funding

Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced Thursday that he reached a settlement in the Tobacco Masters Settlement Agreement.

The settlement netted the state nearly $357 million. That money, however, had already been earmarked within the state's 2018-19 budget to cover long term care costs.
