PHARE Fund gets boost from budget

The Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement Fund received a $15 million increase in the recently passed budget, raising their 2019-20 budget to $40 million. 

Established in 2010, the PHARE Fund helps create guidelines to establish and maintain affordable housing across Pennsylvania. There is money specifically allocated to help those making below 50 percent of the area’s median income.
