House members focus on bills to curb sexual misconduct in the workplace

The House Labor and Industry Committee reviewed several bills intended to minimize sexual harassment in the workplace during a public hearing Tuesday.

Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) and Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion) are sponsors of House Resolution 828, which would create a specific task force to review current laws and procedures and provide suggestions for improvements.

House GOP calls for study into state sexual harassment protocols

Following in the wake of a harassment case within their own ranks, as well as the #MeToo movement at large, House Republicans today announced a two-bill legislative package aimed at assessing and reforming how cases of sexual harassment and misconduct are dealt with both in state government and the commonwealth at large.
