Attorney General Shapiro kicks off Consumer Protection Week in Pittsburgh

Attorney General Josh Shapiro launched Consumer Protection Week in Pittsburgh today by hosting a forum featuring three western Pennsylvania residents who were victimized by scams- but received restitution with the help of the Office’s Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP).

“It’s my job to keep Pennsylvanians safe,” said Attorney General Shapiro. “Whether it’s at the street corner, whether it’s in a board room or whether it’s on the other end of a phone line, we take that job very seriously and protecting consumers is chief among them.”
