Pittsburgh City Councilman seeking to develop former Civic Arena site over the Penguins

Councilman Daniel Lavelle (District 6) is asking the City Solicitor Lourdes Sanchez Ridge to research the city’s legal options for opening the 28-acre site to other developers outside of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the owners of the redevelopment rights to the property.
