Activists emphasize importance of speed cameras on Roosevelt Blvd, work zones

Last week The PLS Reporter caught up with Sen. David Argall (R-Schuylkill) and Sen. Judy Schwank (D-Berks) to discuss Senate Bill 172The bill would create a five-year pilot program for the use of speed cameras in active work-zones and also on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia.

On Tuesday morning a handful of activists joined to discuss more in-depth the reasons speed cameras are needed on the Roosevelt Boulevard.

Executive director of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, Sarah Clark Stuart, led the press conference and also explained to The PLS Reporter the importance of these speed cameras.
